A straggler through the darkened void, Footsteps that echo like gentle raindrops, All around everything is broken and destroyed An eternity lost in this place, So devoid of life’s pleasures and big heart, All seems lost in this chasm of forgotten cold space Whispers of the past fly by like flies, Wisps of voices curl around the ended fray, Emerging out into the moonlight beyond the lies The pale light surges throughout the air, Tender yet deceiving it glows with haste, One cannot withstand the mighty strength of the moon’s glare It pours down in such ferocity, Consuming all who dare step in its wake, Burnt by the moon for engaging in atrocity
